Is it true that the message is more important than the messenger?

The reference image is a shot of Navanna, one of my online friends. When I first saw it a lot of stories came to my mind, saying it inspired me is not enaugh.

Another of my recent Photoshop bigger paintings, I'm still discovering new ways, techniques and brushes, and at least trying to make backgrounds for once.
